Data Analytics

• Project in RISE (on-going): Develop an ML model to enable SDC’s to optimise its bus services around the island • Expedited submission of reporting to the DSO Programme Office that were 2 years overdue. Cleaned up participant data from 3 separate competitions within that period, to produce a coherent presentation of the programme’s milestone achievements and highlights.

Human Centered Design

• Project in RISE: Scrum Master for human-centered design project, on Adva, a lifestyle app powered by Olam, that enables users to track, reduce and offset their carbon impact. 10 days to redesign the app to be more relevant, to improve engagement and initiate long-term behavioural change through gamification and incentives.

Financial Analysis

• Performed valuations of enterprises, executive share options, and intangible assets using appropriate valuation methodologies and models incorporating weighted average cost of capital computations, direct cash flows analyses of historical and projected financials, sensitivity testing and represented findings in valuation reports. • Responsible for purchase price allocation exercises and reviews of the same by other financial advisory firms, including identification and valuation/computation of material intangible assets and discount rates, and presenting findings in reports and presentations.

Project Management

• Streamlined operations, planned instrumental and library budget achieving the overhaul of 90% of band’s instrumental assets and expansion and update of library to include a reference and pedagogy section with appropriate music material for musicians at junior, intermediate, senior and junior college levels. • In-charge of floor operations for the blockbuster exhibition, Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N., managing a team of 23 exhibition guides, troubleshooting technical faults and crowd-control and visitor experience management. • Lead co-ordinator for the 2017 ASXC Competition, spearheaded a team of 10 event co-ordinators to orchestrate event flow and logistics for 1,200 participants, and was primary liason for a multi-organisational committee.

Communication and Writing Skills

• As part of risk-management (RM) portfolio, ensured that across teams, compliance with MAS rules and regulations are adhered to. Advised team leads on matters relating to project risk assessment, RM protocols and guidelines, and ensuring proper record keeping. • Was the first-pass reviewer of the valuations team’s reports before directors’ review and approval, checking for methodology, computational errors, logic, grammar and style. • Improved high touch services during student enrolment and onboarding with clear communication of enrolment policies, reducing withdrawals by 18% over 3 months.

Leadership

• Managed team of 20 to prepare 50,000 sensor devices for dispatch across Singapore to reach 250,000 students for the 2015 National Science Challenge. • Co-ordinated sales efforts of team of 6, through sales reports, and with research identifying and assigning potential new targets and up-selling opportunities to existing customer base. • As part of business development, troubleshoot customers’ issues taking a collaborative approach by working with finance, logistics and sales, effectively reducing customer complaints by 15% over a 4 month period.
